Milestone Landscape, formerly Legacy Landscape located in Vestal, New York, is owned by Tom Lacey and Sue Bartholomew.

Tom is a graduate of SUNY Cobleskill where he studied landscape design and horticulture. He started his own full-service landscape business in 1977 with a focus on residential landscapes. Early on, Tom developed a passion for “hardscapes” and was one of the first authorized contractors for Unilock® pavers in upstate New York and has been installing paver and wall systems since 1984. Additionally, Tom has extensive computer-aided landscape design experience, not only for our own customers but also for other landscape companies in the U.S. and Canada.

Sue has over thirty years of residential gardening and landscaping experience and began working with Tom in 1994. Her passion for design and plants, and her ability to bring our client’s personalities to the design process, makes her a valuable addition to the team.

Our goal is to provide the best quality landscape designs and installations that are beautiful, function as designed, and become a valuable addition to any property.

Milestone Landscape maintains certifications from ICPI as Certified Concrete Paver Installer, NCMA as Level 1 SRW Installer, and a Virginia Class “A” Contractor license (2705-121933A).
